These nautical boat cleat racks are made of pine planks and galvanized iron cleats. These racks are suitable to be used as coat racks, towel racks, back pack racks, hat racks, or key racks. The planks have been painted gray, then painted white, and finally distressed and sealed with gloss polyurethane. The polyurethane we use for all our topcoats is Minwax Pro Series Spar Urethane for Indoor/Outdoor Use. This topcoat creates a glossy, weatherproof finish that will keep your rack looking great for years. All these racks are roughly 3.5″ wide and are available in a range of lengths from 18″ to 48.” The racks all come with d-ring hanging hardware attached on the back. Racks under 36″ have single-screw d-ring hooks that are rated to hold up to 40 lbs. Racks 36″ and longer use double-screw d-ring hooks that are rated to hold up to 80 lbs. We use 3.5 inch cleats on all our racks. Larger cleats are available by special request (and require pricing adjustments).
